The City of Lakota has an immediate opening for a City Superintendent. This position will supervise the overall operation and maintenance of municipal public works, including streets, buildings, grounds equipment, snow removal, utility services, and other public works projects by planning, organizing, directing and reviewing general procedures.
Knowledge in water and wastewater systems along with streets is needed. Journeyman Lineman skills, mechanical abilities a plus but not required.
Applicant must be able to supervise full and part time city employees, along with good communication skills. This position is an on call position with residency requirements and subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Applicant must have a valid ND drivers license, CDL Class B with Air Brake endorsements, or ability to obtain one.
