The Energy and Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the analytical, financial, policy and risk management activities with a heavy emphasis in the area of long-term power supply planning. The successful candidate will bring a demonstrated understanding of the fundamental drivers of utility operations with concentration on U.S. electricity sector including generation, transmission, and distribution segments of the market. This position will demand flexibility and adaptability to be able to utilize core analytical and organization skills to support diverse data processing and other support tasks.
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics, mathematics, finance or related field, plus 4 years of directly related experience and 12 to 18 months project management experience. Must be proficient with database and analysis software and have a working knowledge of statistical and econometric techniques.Experience with a good understanding of utility sales forecasting, load research and related issues that influence electricity demand, preferred.

Additional Salary Information: $2,894.38 Bi-Weekly ($75,254.11 annually) plus an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the KY Retirement System.
