The Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel is responsible for overseeing all UAMPS' legal functions. Responsible for representing the company in court actions, counseling and/or advising of rights, obligations, and legal issues, researching laws and judicial decisions, gathering information, conducting interviews, and organizing and presenting findings.  Responsible for regulatory compliance of existing UAMPS generation facilities. Responsible for long range regulatory and legislative strategy for existing and new UAMPS resources. Responsible for UAMPS Human Resources. Makes presentations to staff, courts, legal groups, or media. Maintains confidentiality of documents and case information. Prepares proposals, legal documents, reports, and correspondence. Appears in court as needed.
