The City of Alameda is seeking an experienced executive to lead Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) as the next General Manager, who will be a visionary and strategic leader committed to safety, sustainability, reliability and affordability. AMP  is among the oldest public or private utilities in the nation and serves over 38,000 residences and businesses in City of Alameda, a 22.7 square mile island community located across the Bay from San Francisco and to the southwest of the City of Oakland. AMP procures power through long and short-term agreements as an active member of Northern California Power Agency (NCPA) and does not independently own any generation assets.
